Co-founded by lifelong best friends Geoff Lazlo and Greg Oshins, Geoff Lazlo Food provides an exceptional experience for every person it touches.

Lazlo found culinary direction early in his career while cooking at Chez Panisse, where he learned that cooking seasonally and sourcing local, sustainable ingredients created not only a delicious final product but also one that helped to build awareness and support for local food producers. He brings this philosophy to Geoff Lazlo Food, sourcing ingredients from local farms and purveyors whenever possible.
A graduate of the renowned Culinary Institute of America, Lazlo has cultivated his career under restaurant-industry legends such as Alice Waters at Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California; Dan Barber at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in the Hudson Valley; Michael Anthony at Danny Meyer's flagship Gramercy Tavern; and Charlie Palmer's Aureole.
The menu at Geoff Lazlo Food rotates seasonally and features fresh, local ingredients prepared using classic techniques borne of Chef Lazlo’s fine-dining pedigree. Some standout dishes include the Roasted Beet Salad with watercress, pistachios & ricotta salata and the Wood-Roasted Whole Chicken.
Chef Geoff Lazlo is a firm believer in the power of seasonal, local ingredients. During his time cooking at Chez Panisse, he observed firsthand how using the freshest meat and produce not only resulted in tastier dishes but also helped to raise awareness and support for local food producers. This close relationship with food producers allowed him to create truly seasonal menus that showcased the best of what was available each week. For Lazlo, cooking with seasonal ingredients isn't just about creating delicious food—it's about supporting the local economy and connecting diners with the farmers and artisans who provide their meals.
Importantly, Geoff Lazlo Food was wholly inspired by Danny Meyer's philosophy of "Enlightened Hospitality" during Lazlo's tenure as part of the Union Square Hospitality Group.
As a result of his training and background, Lazlo is well-versed in the latest trends in the culinary world. He has been featured in numerous publications such as The New York Times and Food & Wine Magazine for exemplifying modern cuisine that is both delicious and artistic.
